Hailing from South Korea, Kim Woo Joong better known by his stage name Soma has proven to be a bboy who can stand his own ground, truly defining the meaning of "it's not about what you do, but how you do it".

Whether it be crew battles or solo battles, Soma's musicality and execution leaves us with many memorably moments, including placing 1st in the preliminary at UTLR2024, standing out as one of the most outstanding bboys out of over 100 competitors at the time. In 2024 alone, Soma secured multiple accomplishments including coming 1st at B Dance Seoul, 2nd at Breaking K and Jeonju Grand Prix.

Outside of the competitive stage, Soma is also known for his appearance on JTBC’s Showdown, South Korea’s first breaking focused dance variety show, as he was one of the members of the winning team. He has modelled for several notable brands including Bibigo, New Era and Extreme.
